Ultimate Catamarans 150YS is a 45.6-meter next-generation support vessel, built entirely in aluminum and developed from the design of the Spaceline 150 superyacht. Thanks to its catamaran platform, the 150YS offers significantly more usable space and stability than monohull counterparts. At under 46 meters in length, it delivers interior volume comparable to that of a 65-meter yacht.
The design prioritizes multifunctionality. The main deck spans 400 square meters and is engineered to carry tenders, watercraft, cars, submersibles, and even cargo containers. The enclosed foredeck provides weather protection, while side and aft doors allow full enclosure of the area beneath the helideck. The certified landing pad supports helicopters up to 13 meters in length, with an optional enclosed hangar.
Its streamlined superyacht profile allows the 150YS to integrate seamlessly into premium marinas while retaining the capabilities of a true explorer. The stable catamaran platform ensures reliability during heavy load operations. The vessel is equipped with four independent launch and recovery zones, including a transformer platform and multiple cranes, optimizing handling of gear and water toys.
Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines, the 150YS reaches a top speed of 20 knots and offers a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles at an economical cruising speed of 12 knots. A hybrid propulsion system, already in use on the Spaceline 150, is available on request. It offers quadruple redundancy, reduced emissions, and extended autonomy.
Accommodation is provided for up to 15 crew in nine cabins, and up to eight guests in private suites. The onboard layout includes a spacious crew mess, galley, dining area, and well-organized service zones, making it ideal for long-term operations at sea. Interiors by Laura Pomponi (Luxury Projects) balance functionality with refined finishings.
